For over 30 years they have taught aspiring authors how to find their own writing niche-and how to get into print! They offer many courses, classes, articles, and support mechanisms that are time tested.
This writer's group offers a Life Support for Writers page that has sections for surviving and thriving (for encouragement), writing craft (for help in developing skills), general chat room (companionship), professional connection (questions for the experts) and post a note (ask a question or share an idea) all hosted by Web Editor, Mary Rosenblum. She has been publishing and teaching writing for nearly fifteen years with seven published novels and more than fifty short stores, as well as non-fiction articles.
This group offers the Long Ridge newsletter for free. It is sent via e-mail weekly and contains live interviews with writers and editors, new articles and interview transcripts on writing, upcoming writing contests and other news for writers.

- Karen O'Connor has written over 40 books for children and adults. Ms. O'Connor has also received many awards throughout her career, including Writer of the Year in 1997, from the San Diego Christian Writers Guild. She was a guest on the Sally Jessy Raphael Shoe and the 700 Club.
- Thomas Bedell has published hundreds of articles, interviews, and book reviews on a wide range of topics. His poetry has been published in literary magazines, and has been a university writing instructor since 1984.
- Carole Bellacera is a novelist with many awards under her belt. She was a 2000 RITA finalist for Best First Book and Best Romantic Suspense with her novel Border Crossings. In addition to being a novelist, Ms. Bellacera is also a screenwriter. Her script for Border Crossings was a 1995 Austin Heart of Film Screenplay Award finalist and was optioned by Hollywood , as was her script for Chocolate on a Stick . She has sold over 200 short stories and articles.
