Do you know how to blog? No, it isn't the latest dance craze it is the journal inspired musings of a bazillion different writers. If you don't know how to blog but you have opinions, about anything really, and you love to write then you probably are a latent blogger.

Now that we have your latent blogging tendencies pigeonholed you probably need to read a blogging how-to. There are many blogging hosts out there that can help you step by step but I have chosen Blog City to take my comments from. In their own words I will tell you five good reasons to join them if you are just starting out:

This type of service caters to those of us who need user-friendly features and help when we can't figure that out! You can start a blog for your business or for your little ol' self. If you really have no idea how to set up a blog there are tons of tutorials and help sites out there but there is a lot of digging to do to get to them.

Here is one article I found that caught my eye because of the title, "How to Start Your Very Own Blog in Fifty-One Easy Steps!" Just typing the title took way too much work but lets take a sampler of what these fifty-one steps entail, shall we?

Okay so far I like this article. If you can't laugh at creating a blog what can you laugh at?

  • Make use of anonymizing technologies such as invisiblog.com and anonymous network tor.com.
  • Limit your audience
  • Don't be googleable

You can also find videos and books that can teach you how to set up a blog. Ask those that are blogging already how they have done it. Depending on the time you have to invest in learning how to handle a blog, it might be cheaper to go through a blogging host instead.
